Search Jira issues using an email address
Seems simple off the bat however it’s not. We have found a great way to over come this issue and want to suggest it. We used the advance search using the report field. Tying in the email in the reporter field searches for that reporters email. Have a look at the 2 screen shots below:
Simple enough and you get the perfect results that you wanted see the results below:
